Get set up in minutes with simple steps for your handheld shower, rain shower, or extension arm setup.

1. Remove your shower connection

Unscrew your shower hose or shower head from the tap. Remove any old sealing tape and wipe the thread clean.

2. Apply the sealing tape

Wrap the included thread-sealing tape clockwise around the shower hose or wall thread 3–5 times to ensure a secure, leak-free fit.

3. Install your Rinava filter

Screw the Rinava Shower Filter onto the connection. Make sure it’s hand-tight — no tools needed.

4. Reattach and rinse

Reattach your shower hose or head, turn on the water, and let it run for 1 minute. Your Rinava filter is now ready to use.

Installation notes by shower type


For a rain shower:

Unscrew the shower head, apply tape, and install the Rinava filter above the swivel ball joint.

For a shower with an extension arm:

Unscrew the extension arm from the wall pipe, apply tape, and attach the Rinava filter directly to the wall connection before reattaching the arm.
